Clean energy

Explore without the footprint.

Every Bee runs on electricity, not petrol. That means the Smiling Coast stays smiling — beaches, villages, and wildlife included.

Zero tailpipe emissions

No exhaust, no fumes, no contribution to roadside pollution. Just clean air on your ride.

Whisper-quiet motor

Hear the waves, birds, and village life instead of engine noise. The Bee moves with the landscape.

Peace of mind

Tourists can ride knowing their transport isn't adding to local pollution or noise. The fuel is clean energy.

Enjoy your Bee in The Gambia

Discover the Smiling Coast on two wheels. The Gambia is small, sunny and made for wandering — and a silent electric Bee turns every day of it into the good kind of detour.

Start with the classic coast run: roll out of the Airport Beehive, take breakfast by the waves at Kotu Beach, watch the painted fishing pirogues land the morning catch at Tanji, then wind up through the palms to Cape Point, where the River Gambia meets the Atlantic. It's under an hour of riding — with a whole day of stops in between.

Park anywhere a car can't: greet the monkeys in Bijilo Forest, meet the sacred crocodiles at Kachikally, haggle for fabrics in the craft markets of Serrekunda, and still make it back for a sunset drink on the Senegambia strip. No taxi negotiations, no timetables — just you, the ocean breeze, and a full charge of Royal Jelly.

Good to know

Questions, answered

The short version of everything riders ask before booking.

Do I need a license?

Yes — a valid driving license covering motorcycles [PENDING LEGAL: exact national/international license class for e-motorcycles in The Gambia]. Your Beekeeper checks it together with your passport or ID at pickup — no documents, no handover.

How far does one charge go — and where do I charge?

Around 100 km real-world — a full day of coastal riding with margin, and your Bee is served fully charged (that's the Royal Jelly). On longer stays, Honeycomb partner cafés and hotels top you up while you relax, or charge overnight from a standard socket with the supplied charger. Running low? Message your Beekeeper.

How does the deposit work?

€100 for rentals up to 7 days, €150 up to 14, €200 up to 21, €250 up to 28. It's collected in person at pickup (cash or card, never charged online) and refunded on clean return. Any damage is deducted per the transparent return checklist, with a written reason.

What's the maximum I'd pay if something happens?

Mechanical and electrical faults are always on us. Without BeeCare, you're responsible for accident damage and theft up to the vehicle's repair or replacement value — your deposit comes first. Add BeeCare Protection (€6/day) and your maximum cost is a €100 excess per incident. The full wording is in our rental terms.

What's included for free?

A helmet per rider (second helmet free), lock and top box, a full charge, and the airport shuttle. Arriving with suitcases? Add the luggage trailer in the booking flow and take everything with you. No hidden fees — the price you see is days × €10.

Can two people ride?

The Bee seats two [PENDING LEGAL: passenger legality and insurance position to be confirmed]. The second helmet is free — add it in the booking flow.

How do pickup, payment and return work?

Reserve online in two minutes — no account, no online payment. Land, take the free shuttle from arrivals (600m), show your PIN and documents to your Beekeeper, pay cash or card, get a short walkthrough, and ride. Return to the Beehive by your booked hour — it's open 08:00 – 22:00 daily.

Can I cancel?

Cancellation is free any time before your rental starts [PENDING LEGAL: final cancellation and no-show policy]. Just message your Beekeeper on WhatsApp or cancel from your account.

Still have questions?

Your Beekeeper answers on WhatsApp — usually within minutes.
