MayBe MyBee is a United Electric Vehicles brand operating electric motorcycle rental in The Gambia. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the BeeApp and what we do with it.

Guest bookings: your name, email address, WhatsApp number, country of residence, and any comment you add (like a flight number). No account or password is needed to book.

Accounts: additionally your profile details (name, phone, language preference) and, if you choose to verify in advance, photos of your ID and driving license.

Bookings and payments: rental dates, assigned Bee, prices, deposit state, and the receipts trail. We never store card numbers — payment happens in person at the Beehive.

To operate your rental: confirming bookings, sending your pickup PIN, contacting you about pickups, returns, and overdue Bees, and processing deposit refunds.

We don't sell your data and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

Our systems run on Supabase (hosted in the EU, Frankfurt region). Transactional email is sent via Resend. WhatsApp messages are delivered via the Meta WhatsApp Business API. Each processor only receives what it needs to deliver its service.

Booking and receipt records are kept for as long as required for accounting and dispute resolution. Document-verification photos are kept only as long as needed to verify you. [PENDING LEGAL: exact retention periods.]

You can ask us to correct or delete your data, or to show you what we hold, by writing to us or asking your Beekeeper at the Beehive. Guest bookings can be attached to an account you create later with the same email.
